Viewers learn that while Ecstasy (also known as MDMA) has been around for a while, its resent rise began to be noticed at all-night teenage dance parties called raves. However, Ecstasy use is no longer limited to the club scene. Experts point out to viewers that Ecstasy is psychologically addictive and can cause paranoia and psychosis. It can also kill, as the story of Morgan tragically demonstrates. After viewing this program, students will understand that Ecstasy is a dangerous drug to be avoided at all costs.
